Came here for my mothers birthday in the evening of 01/01/23. The waiter and host were great and super attentive. The food was spectacular will definitely be coming back in the future!
The tables are close together; we were seated next to a very jolly (and rather noisy) birthday celebration. The food, however, was excellent, as was the wine recommendation by our server.
Had Thanksgiving lunch. Wedge salad was delicious, traditional turkey and sides were great . Only miss for us was the Brussels sprouts but the dressing everything else was spot on. We all had pumpkin breast pudding for dessert. Server was great. Appreciate a place close to Central Park for tired people after parade. Pricey but not compared to other places for holiday meal.
New Year’s Day dinner. The service was relaxed and warm. Food was quite good - although prices have become ridiculous - $19 for a winter salad - really?!? Arugula, some thin slices of pear and parmesan for nearly $20? Come on!!
Café D’Alsace used to be a great value - now it’s no different than any other overpriced UES restaurant.
My relatives were on vacation in the city and we needed a table for ten people. They had the perfect table - round with a lazy susan in the middle. Food was very good and menu had great choices for my pescatarian sister. Staff was attentive and helpful. Everyone in our party had a great time. Special shoutout to the hostess who found my misplaced eyeglasses before I left!
