What a perfect date night spot! The edamame were some of the best I’ve ever had — highly recommend getting them with both the “spicy” AND “garlic” flavors. The Fuego 18 roll is also a must order. Really great, intimate ambiance too! Only feedback was that they were definitely understaffed for a Friday night, which caused a couple of delays and hiccups. And the calamari would have been incredible because of the sauce if it hadn’t been so dry/chewy. We would definitely go back!

Good Sushi and eclectic ambiance/vibe in DT San Diego. Service was ok but had to wait awhile in between drinks. Music is loud but creates fun atmosphere. Would recommend but did feel it was expensive for what you go. ie $20 drinks… above even the local San Diego standard (live locally).

Meat quality was amazing and the service was really good. The 2 servers handling the restaurant were both attentive and checked on us often even when the restaurant started to fill up a little more.
