This is dining perfection! Hales Blackbrick is a truly outstanding dining experience from the moment you are genuinely welcomed in to the moment the manager opens the door for you as you leave, warmly thanking you for choosing their restaurant and hoping you return soon. Service is impeccable-extremely polite, professional, very well-trained with a nice mix of friendliness and humor. Chef Hale came to our table to extend a personal welcome-and happy birthday greeting. His wife Jenny serenaded me with a lovely “Happy Birthday” song. All such wonderful touches to make my birthday so special. The food was next-level amazing, so delicious and unique. The egg roll was one of the most sumptuous delicacies I have ever eaten, a 100 year-old recipe! Dumpling tower was incredible, an opportunity to savor many different flavors. Brussels sprouts were such a tasty amalgam of sauce and spices. Decor was cozy with comfortable booth and bar seating and interesting art. It is no wonder Hales Black Brick is receiving so many accolades and awards. The most memorable restaurant experience I have ever had. So grateful for this special place. Thank you.

A new and somewhat hidden Gem in Hyde Park . . . not on "Restaurant Row" and you can pass by without knowing what is there. But, Black Brick is fine dining "new" Chinese. Dumplings and Egg roll was great. Fried Rice, Rabbit and squid dishes were superb. If you want a special and unique night out, this is a place to visit.
