Best Afternoon Tea Restaurants in Romford

The staff went above and beyond to make this visit a special and memorable birthday experience. I was very touched. The table decorations were wonderful. The scones were freshly made it seemed, albeit to an atypical recipe.

Absolutely loved our afternoon tea for two, so much so that we will be making a group booking for January 2027. Staff were pleasant and attentive, but not stifling. Food was really lovely and much appreciated, good portions for an afternoon tea. Our first visit to the Tudor Barn was most enjoyable. Thanks to all.

My morning here was a great experience. I was really blown away by the atmosphere of the place, I felt like I was in a quaint corner of Italy rather than in the middle of Stratford. I would say that it was more of an experience than just breakfast. Absolutely stunning from the decor to the staff uniforms to that beautiful seat by the large windows. And the Iced Spanish Latte was perfect for a warm summers morning!

We had our first afternoon tea, and we ordered various experiences. The kids loved the fairy tale, and the gentleman tea was full of fried food treats to go along with the beer. We were all full and could not eat all of the treats and sandwiches on the tiers.
