Best Asian Restaurants in Bergisch Gladbach

A wonderful find at the Hyatt regency. Glorious view as the sun set, staff were attentive and very helpful with recommendations and explaining particular things on the menu. Food was amazing and should we return to cologne, we wouldn't hesitate to visit again

Wonderful atmosphere and service. Food was exceptional. We had the Miso soup, fresh oyster, kimchi, edamame and chicken gyoza for starters, then we had a selection of tempura fried seafood and vegetables and nice assortment of nigiri. The e-pad ordering was easy and thorough, very easy to use and extremely informative. Just remember to hit the “submit” button at the end of each order. We were going to add a roll at the end but when it didn’t arrive after 20 minutes, we looked at the e-pad and, bad me… didn’t hit “submit”. It was ok though as our food had settled by then and we realized it would likely have been too much. Highly recommend

Dined at Taku as an American tourist visiting Köln and staying at the Excelsior Hotel Ernst. Reserved a table for two at opening (1830hrs) and left at around 2145 to 2200hrs, so ensure you have adequate time. Booked the 6 course meal option with traditional wine pairing. We were greeted by the host immediately and sat down to wine options/beer/water. We received two complimentary appetizers which were good. The 6 dishes were delicious, albeit some were saltier than preferred. There were food items in the dishes that did complement and reduce the saltiness which made them more enjoyable. The wines were decent as well. The servers explained every meal and every wine that was presented. Overall experience is a 4/5.
