Best Beer Gardens in Tadley

We have visited the Drumming Snipe a few times recently. We really don't have a bad word to say about it. As usual the food was excellent and the service friendly and helpful. This time Ryan looked after us. In brief our favourite place to eat and drink at for a while now.

A short menu is a good sign, suggesting more concern for quality and consistency than variety. Having said that, most diets and tastes are met, from burgers and fish and chips to rump of lamb and fillet of hake. The menu changes regularly, so there is always something new to try. The food is attractively presented, and is fresh and tasty. It is also cooked quite quickly. The quality is very good indeed, and The Cricketers deserves the title of Restaurant rather than pub. That’s what a good chef and good management can do.This wasn’t my first visit, and it certainly won’t be the last.

Great venue, excellent service and good food, thoroughly recommend

It was truly my first time visiting for dinner in twenty years. I was absolutely delighted to have supper in such a marvellous atmosphere, which reminded me of what a proper British pub ought to be. One minor issue, however, was that because we were seated in the dining room at the back, the waiting staff tended to leave rather long gaps between visits to our table. Consequently, we were unable to order additional drinks in a timely manner. On the other hand, the staff were all incredibly friendly, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable time.

Sunday lunch was excellent, served either all the trimmings and more! Friendly staff who were very accommodating with young children. Service was good - We will definitely visit again
