- NNickBedfordshire •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe food was outstanding, we both had 3 courses and every course was superb, cooked to perfection, beautifully presented and delicious. The restaurant was quiet, being a weekday lunchtime when the weather was good outside, so a little lacking in atmosphere but the pub can't be blamed for that. What they did have control of was exquisitely done, we couldn't fault any of it.More infoThe Honingham BuckPrice: Moderate• British• Norwich•4.7
- PPaulaEssex •7 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a lovely lunch here yesterday, we both had the meatballs in cherry beer sauce which were delicious. Service friendly and speedy. We tried several types of beer, all fantastic. Served as they are in Belgian as this is a specialist bar and if you want cheap lager there are plenty of other places in Norwich you can go! Will return when back in Norwich.More infoThe Belgian MonkPrice: Moderate• Belgian• Norwich•3.9
- MMaxineNorfolk/Suffolk •3 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe had booked a Pod as we had two dogs. The pouring rain made the prospect a bit daunting. The staff were so very helpful and arranged a table in the garden room as soon as we got there. Really helpful.More infoThe Waters Edge RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Bistro• Norwich•4.1
- PPeterLondon •4 reviews4.0Dined on 3 Jul 2025On a short trip to Essex (4 days) this was without doubt the best food served. The slip sole was excellently cooked and served in a tasty sauce alongside peas and samphire. And the lamb dish was good too - the lamb pieces had been roasted in a mould and served with very tasty carrots and potatoes. There was good cooking all round and we dined in a music free dining room. Good pint of beer but the red wine (two glasses -house and rioja) were disappointing - the only "blot on the landscape".More infoThe Bell Inn KerseyPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Hadleigh•4.6
