Absolutely amazing. Completely exceeded our expectations , with some of the best food we have ever eaten, impeccably presented and served. The wine list was extensive, but the sommelier provided guidance (in the menu) of wines that went particularly well with the dishes. This was excellent, and I was particularly pleased they suggested the tawny port to go with the Old Sussex cheese board, which I had already decided sounded a perfect combination, double of venison was incredible, the home made butter which went with the bread was an unexpected pleasure and they finished it off with a special treat because it was our anniversary. For an extra special occasion, I really can’t imagine anywhere better.

The food was absolutely OUTSTANDING! One of the best meals we have had for a very long time and we eat out regularly. You could tell the care and love that went into each dish and the quality of the ingredients also shone through. Really, really delicious - we cannot recommend The Landgate Bistro highly enough. The scallops with a chorizo crumb were the highlight for me, beautifully plump and sweet - I didn't want it to end. We will be back!
