Best British Restaurants in Horsley

I bought this for a birthday grift for my wife as we have always wanted to try the event, having done various others, and ate at the restaurant a few times. The knowledge, and quality of the food and wine was incredible. The evening and other guests really helped and could not recommend the experience enough to others looking at trying. In the current climate, it feels like this is a really good price, for an amazing experience. It’s not something you can probably do regularly, but for a special ocassion or a one off, I really don’t think the price can be questioned. Chris, the chef, was very good at explaining each dish while he was there, but had to say that Will showed such an amazing love for this job! It’s fantastic when people have that much passion for the job, as it definitely impacts positively on the atmosphere for those there for the experience. Will definitely be back to Blackfriars again, and would not hesitate to come back for the chef’s table again

Excellent food, excellent service… couldn’t ask for more!!

As always the whole experience was superb. The food was superb and the staff are all friendly and helpful whilst giving a superb service. We were there to celebrate one of our grandsons 15th Birthday and he and his sister had a wonderful time

What a fabulous evening we had. Food was wonderful and the service was second to none. We will definitely be coming again when we are in the area! Me and my partner and friend thought the service was just perfect. The wonderful lady from Sicily (I can’t remember her name right now) was so attentive and friendly ! Loved it

Food was outstanding (rump steak and haddock & chips peanut butter cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding both with caramel ice cream) booked last minute whilst camping a few miles away was not disappointed with the establishment. The views from the beer garden spectacular. Would definitely recommend visiting.
