Best British Restaurants in Barford

Had the 8 course taster menu with drink pairing, as a treat for our anniversary. I had a pre call to confirm, warmly greeted on arrival and given 5* treatment the whole visit. The food is the quality you expect and we were both stuffed at the end, not able to manage any of the possible extras you can buy such as cheese and port etc (bear in mind we had 2 plates of dessert already). The food was introduced, and at all times we felt comfortable and attended to. Amazing restaurant. Will return to try some more of their menu. Call out the rabbit samosa’s, mackerel, duck, chicken skin…. All immaculate.

Food was excellent paired with great choice of wine, service was excellent, it was my partners birthday, there was a birthday card on the table on arrival and desert plate was presented with a happy birthday message, overall a great place to eat.

very pleasant afternoon tea with assortment of finger sandwiches and cakes, and choice of coffee or tea. The Open Table booking, which had been confirmed by email, had not been recorded on the Hotel system, so initially nobody expected our party of 4. This was eventually sorted out, but was a little irritating, considering the price charged for the overall experience
