Boeufhaus has long been a favorite of ours. A few things stand out about the place: 1) It's a smallish menu, where everything is excellent; they curate their menu with care and it shows. It's great when a restaurant knows how to self-edit. 2) They know how to mix a cocktail and their own cocktails are terrific. 3) they respect their diners; the level of service (attentive but never hovering or showy) is what sets Boeufhaus above other restaurants. I love the place. I love that it's not coy or faux-inventive. I love that it seems like the staff is dedicated to the place. Many staff have been there for some time, and they are all focused, able, professional, and capable.
