We wanted to be closer to the kitchen’s action to witness the hand-crafted by the chef himself, ask for a table inside and got it. The energy is vibrant, and we had the choice of seating. We ordered “à la carte”, instead of the four-course table d'hôte. We both ordered the house-specialty handmade Ravioli, one with the cheese and spinach in butter sauce and the other with the braised beef. The pasta is light, fluffy, and melts in your mouth. The defining moment of the evening happens mid-service. Without warning, Chef Davide Bazzali step out of the kitchen, transitions into a powerful tenor, and belted out a beautiful operatic aria. The service was excellent, and Chef Davide Bazzali took the time to speak with us at our table and took pictures with us. Excellent Bolognese, fine meatballs, perfectly cooked seafood, and extraordinary duck confit ravioli; plus the house made chocolate ice cream that accompanies the tiramisu is outrageously fudgy.
