Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Midwood

I never leave reviews but we had the best time here. The staff did such an incredible job making my partner’s birthday feel extra special, and it was both of our favorite restaurant experiences in New York so far. Everyone was so warm and clearly proud of the restaurant, and the concept is so incredibly fun. Every detail is thought out and so well executed, and their references are all over the place (in the best way). We loved it and can’t wait to go back!

Going to Gargiulo's is like going to a family's Sunday dinner. Everyone from the owners to the waiters make you feel warm and loved. Everyone came over to our table to kiss my mother and I, as well as our guest. Our waiter was Jerry and he knew and anticipated what we were all going to eat and drink. Everyone is amazing there. Gargiulo's is our go-to for dinner and parties.

Everytime I come back it gets even better, and feel at home the staff is amazing will be coming back over and over

This was an excellent meal in a really nice location. The food and interior design were both top notch. The staff were incredibly nice and went above and beyond. I would definitely return.
