Best Contemporary Mexican Restaurants in Stratford

Very good service and interesting selection of food. I chose the set menu for two and found it tasty and filling. The location was good as we were staying at Canary Wharf.

Lovely food, excellent margaritas and great service.

I think the best thing I can say Wahaca is that they don’t rush you out. We had some of our party getting there late because of train issues yet they found us a table outdoors where we could sit, drink and wait. Had an excellent waitress serve us (sorry I didn’t get her name) and again, didn’t rush us out when we had finished. All in all a lovely evening, excellent food, brilliant service. Thank you!

Another return visit to Zapote in Shoreditch for lunch. This restaurant serves up some of the very best Mexican food in London. Authentic and innovative, it’s not your usual tacos and burritos. This sits at the fine dining end of the spectrum. Every dish is well spiced and full of flavour, with great presentation. Service is always friendly and knowledgeable. My only surprise is that the restaurant is so quiet at lunchtimes. It deserves to be busier. This is a fantastic experience and one of our favourites. We will be back again, no doubt.
