Best Cajun Restaurants in Whidbey Island

Finally tried Geo’s after watching the transformation of the space when we walk or drive by. It was Friday night with live music starting at 6:30pm in dining area. Place got packed and wait staff was challenged to keep up. Everyone was friendly and food was good. Enjoyed the music too. Will go back again, maybe for brunch.

My husband and I were on a date night and this was our first time here. The staff was friendly and greeted us upon our entrance. We had never had absinthe and so our server, Shannon, gave us a quick tutorial. Based on her recommendation we went with the Nouvelle Orleans. We ordered the fried catfish and shrimp and grits. The portions were generous and the taste... wow! You definitely can't be on a diet but it's well worth the calories. The use of the antique absinthe fountain to prepare our absinthe drink just added to the experience. We'll definitely be back and will recommend to our family amd friends.

Jambalaya, crawfish pie, catfish all excellent. Gumbo had weird favorite. This review from a real Creole!
