My friends and I visit regularly for lunch. The tables are spread out so you don’t feel on top of other guests. I would receive the Chicken Caesar Salad as it’s freshly prepared.

Risotto was amazing! Sunday roast options were a great value with loads of unlimited (and delicious) side dishes. The negative is that tables are only booked for 1.5 hrs and they are very enforcement heavy. We were caught in traffic and thus about 20 min late heard 6 times when they needed the table back…it wasn’t a problem as we couldn’t help being late and were happy to accommodate. I would have preferred being told once and then at the time of (if needed) versus numerous reminders but that’s my opinion…I would come back but probably not on a Sunday.

We had a great night. It was a special celebration for our daughters MBE. The celebration of this wasn’t known by staff, despite me sending information on the booking form, and we had wanted a fuss for her. No. Matter that we had a good time.

A wonderful meal in a friendly pub, with the aroma of wood smoke adding to the atmosphere. Only issue was that there was not a toilet suitable for disabled customers.
