Absolutely phenomenal. Party of 10 work colleagues over from Scotland. Everyone highly satisfied. Staff amazing. Food amazing. Price amazing. Cannot recommend highly enough. Each course was fantastic and the speed of service as it was busy and there were 10 of us was amazing.

A difficult restaurant to get a booking but worth the wait. We ordered À la carte but there was a tasting menu option. From the small bites menu we ordered the sourdough which was superb and the pardon pepper dish was next level ( stuffed peppers) . From the starters we had stuffed cabbage dish with a pistachio cream - fab - and a mackerel dish which again was delicious. Mains were duck and monkfish, so good with a side of potato which was one of the best I’ve ever had . The service was excellent, just the right level of attention , friendly and informed. Dessert was a delicious ice cream and a chocolate cake which was gently flavoured with Mescal and olive oil - really different and yummy This is a great restaurant - highly recommended

I've been to Chez Max many times and each time I have had a fantastic meal. The food is always excellent, the staff are professional and friendly and the restaurant itself feels like being in France. There's just such a great vibe here. There's also great attention to cleanliness and the toilets have been spotless on my visits. Its wonderful to have this restaurant in Dublin for so many years in it's iconic location.

I was there with a party of 10, they were very accommodating. The tables are not cramped like many city restaurants. Great atmosphere, great food, great service.
