Best French Restaurants in Aldershot

The setting is faultless, sitting on The Thames in Eton (a hop over the bridge from Windsor & Eton Riverside station. Lots of tables to take in the view. The service is attentive and aims to get things right. My second time here and we found our perfect spot outside and undercover. The cheese souffle starter was delicious and the Camembert left a lot to be desired, we ate late and it felt like it had been warmed into dryness, a shame. The beef cheek main was applauded by us and the table next door however my salmon dish was very salty. The Cremant was gorgeous and the carafe of rose fresh and dry. I will certainly go back and hope the food is improved for late diners.

Great visit and all service areas were well managed and great quality.

We started with a drink in their beautifully tranquil garden overlooking a lovely water feature and a fish-filled pond. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The menu was, whilst not extensive, varied and well thought through. With just ten tables the staff were able to very attentive. Overall, a wonderful evening.

Why change a successful menu? No fish pie, whitebait, green beans, spinach for example.
