Best Gastro Pubs in Penryn

Staff friendly and welcoming, food was good. Was unfortunately a bad weather evening and the blinds upstairs had to be shut. Wanted to stay to see the entertainment but too busy downstairs. Not the venues fault, just a shame for our plans.

We dined here early evening and were seated at a corner table upstairs so our dog could have a quiet space to relax. Food, service and ambiance were excellent - just what we’ve been looking for during our short breaks. Staff were brilliant throughout our visit, knowledgeable about the menu and able to assist my wife with choices that catered for her gluten intolerance. We enjoyed everything we selected and the food presentation, quality and tastes were exceptional. We enjoyed our visit, so much so we booked again for later this week for our last evening. Looking forward to trying some of Adam Handlings other restaurants once we get home.

An excellent lunch at the Harbour House. Food and service were top notch and the ales superb.

Great overall experience, despite service being slow. You feel like you’re in your favorite neighborhood restaurant/bar and keep looking around for your friends and neighbors

Beautiful clean and welcoming proper pub. Staff friendly and food service swift and efficient. Food was lovely, and well priced. Good portions, fresh, and some classic items on menu plus some more interesting dishes.
