My friend and I ate here before a concert and we had the salmon and the trout and it was perfection! Great weight, staff and really cool environment atmosphere!!

Fun and interesting former mansion with creative food and drinks menu. Brewpub provides most interesting mix of beers and other concoctions I've seen. Strong farm-to-table vibe in the menu.

My wife and I had dinner at McCray’s Tavern on the Square in Lawrenceville last night, and we couldn’t have asked for a better Sunday evening. Our server, Marshall, was relatively new, but you certainly wouldn’t have known it from the service. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we never lacked for anything throughout our meal. We started with the Tavern Chips, which were absolutely amazing and definitely worth ordering. My wife had the Reuben, and I went with the Southwest Bowl. We were both very happy with our meals and enjoyed a couple of cold draft beers along with dinner. Good food, great service, a relaxed atmosphere, and an enjoyable evening together. A special thanks to Marshall for taking such good care of us. We’ll definitely be back!

Started with beef carpaccio, that was super good and well presented on the plate. I had pimento cheeseburger , cooked exactly how I wanted and very very good, wife had traditional burger , again very well cooked and delicious. I rate this place a 10/10. Ambiance and environment is very clean and well kept. Kudos to the chef , also server was new but he still did a great job and very attentive. Highly recommend for a decent low key date night!

My family of (4) wanted to take Dad out for Father’s Day and needed a location not too far from home, free parking, & open later than most restaurants. My daughter had to work so we were expecting to eat around 7:30-8pm. McCray’s was the perfect choice! We set reservations for 8:30 but arrived much earlier and was seated immediately. The location was a discovery for us. I have passed this area many times but had no idea the area had so much to offer, looking forward to returning soon. We ordered an appetizer, our selection was the Nachos w/o meat…soooo good!!! All (4) of us really enjoyed our meal. The service was great and the vibe was perfect for us to enjoy talking and laughing together as a family which is a rare opportunity for us b/c we’re working hard to provide these days. The entire family enjoyed our leftovers the next day and continued to talk about what a time we had.
