Best Gastro Pubs in Danbury

A large table of 9 on an early Saturday evening. Good service great menu( creme brûlée was off menu by 7!) really nice setting with great outdoor seating after meal.( not very sheltered so not sure how good in bad weather! ) Will deffo return just for the food!

Very accommodating staff who changed our table quickly after they realised we had a dog and couldn't eat in the restaurant. The portion sizes were large and the food tasted great!

We had a really nice lunch at the Punchbowl, it is pleasing to see it open as on previous visits to this part of Essex it has been closed. Food was excellent, very good beer from Wibblers Brewery and service was attentive and timely. i'm sure we'll be back. i dont usually do reviews but the Punchbowl deserved a good one!

Always take our elderly aunt to The Leather Bottle and have never had anything other than excellent food and service. Well worth the drive from Bexhill for a truly great experience. Thank you.

Great place for freshly made pizzas and outstanding pasta. Lovely staff and the chef cooking the pizzas does a first class job. Definitely taking the kids.
