- TTimLondon •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoAfter a less than perfect walk, we arrived here grumpy and sweaty, but the amazing food - really world standard - soon put a smile on our face. We had a selection of small platters - tapas really - along with excellent skinny fries. The Pica Pau was really outstanding, and the asparagus was delicious too. A cut above most pub food, and the service was attentive and friendly, despite the place being very busy. Excellent!More infoThe Manor GarsingtonPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Oxford•4.5

- AAndyManchester/Greater Manchester •3 reviews5.0Dined on 7 Jun 2025Easy to book via Open Table including a time amendment. Took my daughter for dinner on a Saturday evening. We were greeted by a bar man on entering and were immediately seen to a very nice table for 4 even though there were two of us giving us plenty of room. Service was prompt and informative. We ordered the warm Sourdough to start which was fresh and nicely warm. My daughter had the Chicken Schnitzel and loved it. I had the Lamb Pave with Moroccan couscous and roasted veg, which was delicious. To finish we indulged in the warm chocolate fondant cake with melted chocolate inside, ice cream and white chocolate sauce. All in all a fabulous experience.More infoThe FishesPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Oxford•4.4
- DDebbieLondon •22 reviews4.0Dined on 19 May 2025The Fleece overlooks the green in the heart of beautiful Witney. Parking was plentiful and the perfect place to stop for a stroll around the shops too. Greeted by a warm welcome, we were shown to our table and served by James, who couldn’t have provided a better service. I chose from the specials board, Asparagus to start then the delightful Monkfish, cooked in paper to retain the juices and sitting proudly on a bed of mussels, olives and sweet tiny tomatoes. My Husband, the birthday boy, had crab and then the succulent rolled Pork Belly. All the food was delicious, served promptly accompanied with a very tasty cocktail. No room for pudding. Sadly, the Fleece is about two hours drive away for us because we would undoubtedly return regularly. If you are in the area, don’t miss this opportunity. We loved it.More infoThe Fleece WitneyPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Witney•4.5
