Best Greek Restaurants in Hackney

Top quality experience in Highbury exceeded expectations! Popped into The Resto London for dinner and was genuinely impressed. I went for the Petto di Manzo pizza slow cooked beef brisket, and a hint of spicy pineapple sauce. It was cooked in a proper wood-fired oven and the flavour was on another level. What really surprised us was how many vegan and veggie options they had my wife, who’s vegan, had plenty to choose from. She loved their plant-based Neapolitan pizza, and we shared two Aegean small plates: the Fava and Barbarossa both were full of flavour and beautifully presented. For dessert, I had the Bergamotto Panna Cotta light, creamy and with the perfect citrusy kick. My wife went for the vegan pear dessert Dolce di Pere which was just as refined Everything was served with attention to detail, and honestly felt Michelin standard. Highbury locals are lucky to have this place we’ll definitely be back!

Lovely authentic Greek food and in these times when everything is expensive - this was very reasonable. The Greek salad was fresh and zingy, lamb skewers tender and tasty and chicken wings with hot sauce - yum! Service is friendly, proprietor was super nice. I recommend a visit, what’s not to love!

Very friendly place. Excellent Melitzanosalata (aubergine dip/salad) and gigantes in tomato sauce among the starters with very good warm pitta bread. We always end up with the chicken and lamb souvlaki for mains, as we like them so much. Definitely book, as it's popular.

I absolutely love the place. The food is incredible. The staff are so lovely. I just hope its popularity rises because it’s absolutely the best in the area by a million miles.
