I didn’t expect a Mexican restaurant to have such outstanding brisket. To any other reviewer that says the brisket was subpar, I think their mouth and taste buds must be burnt permanently and beyond repair. Their brisket is better than Sugarfire. The extra garnishes were a little odd and the mac & cheese was nothing to ride home about. Our waitress (Daliah) was wonderful, very helpful, and attentive to our table. I will say that the food took a little longer than I would expect to be ready, but perfection takes time so I did not mind the extra wait. Barrel House has done a wonderful job at the renovations since Houlihan’s. I enjoyed the interior as well - with various pockets of seating areas, so it feels like a different experience each time. I would recommend this restaurant!
