The food was terrific - definitely a rung above the setting. The decor is somewhat sparse, and the food and beverage would have been more at home in a fine dining space. I was drawn to Centrolina by multiple great reviews and the fact that there are many excellent non-meat choices. It was everything I'd hoped for. The menu changes regularly so no point in getting into details, but we had fabulous fish and mushroom dishes. Our server was totally professional - again, fitting for a dressier establishment - and extremely knowledgable. When the wine we wanted was not available, he recommended one that he said was far better at a similar price, and we were not disappointed. Pacing was leisurely - we were never rushed, and able to enjoy a=every sip and bite. The place was pretty noisy at 7:30 but moderated as the evening went on. Easy to get to on Metro.
