This place was recommended by the chef of another yakitori restaurant which was not open while we were in Tokyo visiting. And it did not disappoint. It’s in the basement level of a building and very lively from the moment you enter. The mood is convivial, a nice change from some of the upscale sushi places. We had the basic set course menu which was plenty of food. Everything was tasty and it was fun to try all the different parts of a chicken. Would recommend to anyone!

I was a bit skeptical once we arrived and it was in the restaurant level of a shopping mall...in the USA, we do not usually associate quality dining within shopping malls with a few exceptions. However, I was quickly dissuaded. Service was impeccable. We were seated in a private room and our server was dressed to impress in a kimono! The food was exquisitely presented and served elegantly. The chef came in several times to check-in and serve us the dishes. It was an absolute delight! A true kaiseki experience. My only criticism would be that our private dining room was a brightly lit and there were no wall decorations. It may have been better to lower the lights and have a piece of art on the wall. That would have made it better. All in all, a superb evening. A nice, special dinner while in Tokyo. Highly recommended.

Tempura and Soba restaurant. Ingredients are from Shizuoka prefecture. Very popular and difficult to find seats. Nice hospitality.
