Really good experience, we asked to move table because there was a big noisy group behind us. They were very accommodating. Food, service and drink was good and no rush to leave after two hours.

Beautiful restaurant with even more beautiful food! The steamed buns are like pillows and the accompaniments like the crispy piglet belly was divine. I could have eaten half the menu if I had the stomach space. Absolutely delicious!

Fabulous experience, food was great there was a group of us so went fir the set menu. It does come up quite pricey especially the wine but it was a great evening. The stand out dish for me was the blackened cod.

Been coming to Tanakatsu for years and it never disappoints. The pork and chicken katsu bowls are consistently excellent — crispy, tender, and packed with flavor. This visit we also tried the fried shrimp and pork cutlet platter, which was generous and satisfying, plus a great bowl of miso soup. The only miss was the tuna tataki, which felt a bit underwhelming compared to everything else. Still, the classic katsu here is some of the best I've had, and I'll definitely keep coming back. Highly recommend!

Very good quality food. Excellent choices on the menu. Great drinks selection. Authentic Japanese food and service. The staff were very professional, even calling my phone after we had left to let me know we had left something behind. We did not order a meal set, but I wish we had.
