Best Modern European Restaurants in Carnock

There was a really nice buzz and the food was creative, delicious and picture-perfect. We went mainly for fish dishes and they were excellent Warm, welcoming and knowledgeable service. The only slight downside was that the wine list didn’t feature much under £20 a bottle. Nevertheless, our dinner at Skua was the highlight of our weekend in Edinburgh, and we will eat there again.

Ambience is cozy and they have great cocktails. The food was the highlight and you should try the scallops as they were tender and sweet. We had the venison which was served with mushrooms and it was not gamely but was tender and rich in flavor. We also had the pork belly and it as the best we ever had. Nice place and well worth it. However, a waiter tipped over one of our cocktails and they said they would comp it but never did. Otherwise it was a positive experience.

We had a wonderful experience at the Whiski room. The food was amazing and the service even better. We enjoyed it so much we returned the following night for a snack and drinks. Mick provided excellent service and really made our night perfect.

We went in just before 12, the table was booked. The waiter showed us to the table and gave us the menus. We ordered a drink then food. We didn't have long to wait, the food was lovely. Service was excellent.
