Had a great tasty melt in your mouth seabass. And a really superb dessert. It was like a takeoff from a black forest gateaux. With no sponge but superbly made in a posh way. I loved it. The place is so perfect by the sea. And had a lovely atmosphere inside. So relaxing & enjoyable. Great service from all the staff. It made my holiday. Thank you all.

I was visiting Penarth from Bristol for a few days, staying at Holm House. My oldest child came to Silures to have dinner with me. What a beautiful setting! The restaurant is lovely, with plenty of space between the tables. The staff are smart and attentive, without being intrusive. I drink a lot of water, and my glass was topped up continually without having to ask. The food was absolutely amazing! I had the Wednesday special Boeuf en Croute, the best Beef Wellington I’ve ever had, my oldest is vegan and had the Miso Cauliflower, also perfect. I recommend Silures without hesitation, don’t miss the opportunity for a truly wonderful all round dining experience. Thank you
