- JJessicaPortland / Oregon •9 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe went here for our anniversary and set a reservation for right at 5pm when they open. We got to pick our table which was nice. Its very cozy and cute. The tables are close together so keep that in mind if you're wanting privacy. The place filled up shortly after we ordered so it got a bit louder but not too bad. You can tell its a popular spot. The service was prompt and friendly. We got the fromage charcuterie and there was so much yumminess, I feel like it would be enough for a group of 4 or 5. We didn't realize they were waiting on us to tell them we were ready for the entrees so if you're waiting a while, that may be why....! I got the cassoulet and my husband got the burger. I honestly thought the cassoulet would be a small little pot or bowl NOPE - it was a decent sized skillet and I barely made a dent. My husband finished the burger, he loved it and said the fries were amazing. We took the rest home, happily! We got the basque cheesecake and a single profiterole (so happy they offered just one as that was enough for me). Everything was delicious, the staff was helpful and sweet. We really enjoyed ourselves. I'm sure we'll be back for brunch or lunch.More infoBistro Maison$$$$• French• McMinnville•4.8

- JJoeChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined on 11 Sept 2026Without the slightest hesitation I can declare that the evening my girlfriend and I spent at the Joel Palmer House was outstanding in all respects. The staff at the Palmer House has this uncanny ability to make you think you are the only patrons in the restaurant and that they have spent the past three days preparing for your visit. The wait staff, the sommelier, the chef - they all stopped by our table a few times during the evening, offering interesting and informative conversation about the history of the restaurant, the wine, and the food. And yet, they were not intrusive; they didn't impede my girlfriend and myself from having a perfectly relaxing, quiet night together. At my age, I've dined at countless restaurants in my life; I've rarely had an experience as perfectly enjoyable as this. Nice work, Joel Palmer House people. Job well done!More infoThe Joel Palmer House$$$$• Contemporary American• Dayton•4.8

- SStevenPortland / Oregon •1 review5.0Dined on 7 Sept 2026I would highly recommend OKTA. The staff lead by Christina Smith and the Kitchen ran by Christy Smith, make the dining experience one to remember. The Food is fresh and the options are great, this four course taste menu gives you great choices from the land and sea, farm fresh vegitables and fruits accompanied by a vast choice of wine and select spirits. If you looking for a great evening with your special someone, or treat friends or family from afar visit OKTA and be sure to tell them Steven and Peter say hello...More infookta farm and kitchen$$$$• Contemporary American• McMinnville•4.4
