Best Oyster Bars in Delta

Our visit to the Boathouse before it closed will leave us with fond memories. The service was outstanding, especially given the limited staffing during the dinner rush. Our waiter refilled our non-alcoholic beverages without even being asked, a good sign of an attentive server. I only wish I had gotten his name so I could give him a shout-out. The food, though a little salty for one item, was what we expected and have come to expect from the establishment. We visited for a birthday, and because two of us ordered specials, our dinners came with dessert. The birthday girl was given a birthday cake on the house. The server also asked one of our party if he would like a dessert, since everyone but him had one. This was very thoughtful, though he declined as he didn't feel like having dessert.

Very good food; would recommend. I had the oysters, tartar and cheesecake. Everything was excellent.

My wife and I celebrated her birthday with the Prime Rib Dinner. The meal was delicious, the portions were just right for our appetites, and the presentation was an excellent display of the food. The service matched the decor, formal, but friendly and efficient. The pianist was unexpected, but a fine touch to our dining experience, although I would have reduced the volume a little.

As always fantastic food and service! Great spot to watch the sunset!
