Best Pizza Bars in Bridgeport

We had a great experience at Connie’s Pizza in Bridgeport! The pizza was amazingly fresh—you could really taste the freshness of the dough and ingredients in every bite. I especially appreciate that ground turkey is offered as a topping. You don’t see that everywhere, and it’s definitely a favorite of mine. I had friends visiting from out of town who are doing their own little Chicago pizza tour, and Connie’s was a hit! They loved the entire experience, from the classic look and feel of the restaurant to, most importantly, the food. Our server seemed like they may not have been having the best evening, but that’s okay. Everyone is entitled to have a bad day at work from time to time, and it certainly didn’t take away from our overall experience. Great atmosphere, fresh ingredients, delicious pizza, and a true Chicago experience. My friends left happy, and Connie’s definitely earned its place on their Chicago pizza tour!

The perfect place for a birthday lunch! Everything was great - the food, the service, and the table. Emma started off our great experience as soon as we walked in. Can’t wait to come back and try more items!

Dude! Hector was the most amazing….man….does “man” even do him justice? He possesses the thick, dark mane of a Spanish lion and his looming, domineering presence commands the respect of every citizen in line of sight, perhaps beyond. I’m going to write a hardcore punk song about him this weekend. He recommended the best drinks. He recommended the best food. He romanced wives and fathered children. He psychologically manhandled the cooks to ensure prompt delivery of our food. His customer service prowess is so off the charts that he made time to go sit out back of the kitchen on an empty five gallon bucket and pound Budweisers between table visits while still delivering all food and drinks in perfect time. I’m pretty sure that at least 80% of our party will work to have future children or grandchildren named in his honor. God bless Hector and God bless the United States of America.

The food was great. Didn't order the pizza but it looked amazing. Sat outside and the service was good/attentive. Will definitely go back

A friend told me this was the best pizza he ever had. Strong words! When I tried to make a reservation they were jam packed! I got a table at 10pm on a Wednesday and it was as good as I had heard. From start to finish, they nailed everything. Great wine list, impeccable caviar service, a perfect variety of appetizers to choose from (we had caponata), and super duper thin tavern style pizza that was just delish. And gelato, locally made (hey! we want spumoni!) 100% recommend the casual cool vibe, terrific service, and well-done menu.
