Best Portuguese Restaurants in Chambly

If I can be honest - I came in with the assumption that the food would be mediocre/gimmicky based on the fact the restaurant is in the heart of downtown, where there are many tourists, so i figured it’d be “tourist-y”. I was completely wrong - the food was phenomenal! Starters: Cod Croquettes: 9/10, I’m not the biggest fan of Cod, but these were great! Asparagus Salad: 9.5/10, pricey, but absolutely worth it and delicious. Bread Basket: 7/10, the dips were great, but the bread was just okay for 10$ Main: Chilean Sea Bass: 9.5/10, so buttery and melt in your mouth, and price was fair, but quite a few bones in the skin, so was difficult to eat that. 8oz Filet Mignon: 10/10, cooked perfectly with a perfect crust and char, wouldn’t change a thing and the mashed potatoes were great! Dessert: Pasteis de Natas: 9.5/10, I would get this every time - I’ve not been to Portugal, but this is what I imagine they taste like out there, absolutely wonderful, just a bit on the smaller side for the price. Pavlova: 10/10, I’ve never been a fan of pavlova, but this might have changed that And a special shoutout to Cedrick, who served us, he was fantastic - he made sure we had everything we needed and that everything was to our liking and was extremely helpful snd accommodating.

I had dinner at Helena last night, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. Every dish we ordered was outstanding. What really made the evening special, though, was the service. The staff were warm, attentive, professional, and made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout the entire evening. Helena is the kind of restaurant where the food, atmosphere, and service all come together perfectly. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had a great meal there. The food was very flavourful and we were served very large portions for a reasonable price. The staff was so friendly and accommodating.
