We had bbq chicken wings with a green chilli slaw, white bait and also a spicy curried carrot soup. Mains we sampled were an enormous stack of burger which was delicious, a beer batter haddock and chips (another generous helping) and an Asian beef brisket and rice. The trio of quality sausages with bubble and squeak was superb. Bursting with flavour. It’s a CAMRA pub so also washed down with a variety of well kept ales.
