However beware very expensive singles glasses of wine for over £ 12 pounds, and the 15% service charge.More infoBentley's Oyster Bar & GrillPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Mayfair•4.7

- RRobertLondon •8 reviews4.0Dined on 13 Jun 2025The Seafood Bar London has come a long way since they first started in the UK. (I remembered it was not such a good place to go to.) Now, most things have been improved and it is a very enjoyable place to have lunch there. If you enjoy eating seafood then this is definitely the place to go. The food, the service and the atmosphere are generally good. (Seafood platter is a good recommendation, so are the pasta dishes) But with this visit, I do have one thing to complaint about and I don't think it should be put forward and ask the customer to pay for it. I asked for the bill and they were now using the modern method of scanning the QR code to pay using your phone. That did not bother me but when I looked at the bill carefully. I noticed they have put an addition charge of 'sunday Platform fee' I think the payment system they are using is from a company called sunday. Why should I pay for a PLATFORM FEE? Why should anyone pay for this? What is the fee have to do with my meal at the restaurant? I am happy to pay for my meal plus service charge. And not any additional fees. This fee has nothing to do with my meal. So, beware of this. I did pay for it but the more I thought about it the more I felt this was a con. It did leave a bad taste in the mouth on a rather good lunch. Maybe you should just ask them to use the payment machine rather than the QR code payment system?More infoThe Seafood BarPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Soho•4.5
