Yuu Kitchen is inspired by the fun and freshness of flavours from south-east Asia and the Pacific Rim. Head Chef Jon de Villa - previously of Nobu London - has created a menu inspired by his Filipino heritage and travels across Asia. Expect soft pillowy Taiwanese bao buns, bursting with buttermilk chicken, Australian Wagyu or 7UP-braised pork belly. Savour an Hawaiian poke bowl or Japanese charcoal salmon tatami - using only sashimi grade fish. Devour Japanese sweet and sticky eggplant and a Vietnamese crispy tofu roll with some Thai chicken larb. Enjoy Wine, bubbles and beers on tap, or indulge in a range of Asian-inspired cocktails including the light and fresh Bubble Tea cocktails. You’ll be sharing your high top table with other guests and sharing your dishes with your friends. We recommend to select at least 3-4 dishes per person (these are small plates) from different sections of the menu.

The bloke on the left. Well he’s our father, our Babuji. His journey started back in 1959. Before arriving in the UK Babuji decided to travel through Bangladesh, India then Pakistan, teaching, learning and eating lots on the way. In particular the street stalls of Calcutta, Mumbai, and Lahore were his favourites. Our food is a homage to the street vendors and Cafés of South Asia. Combining dishes that Babuji encountered in his journey. From Bengali bites, to street stall favourites of Mumbai, and traditional homely Pakistani dishes. By the way, we eat with our hands, cos that’s the Babuji way.
