    Meson don Felipe is a must try restaurant in London. The food is wonderful and far from the “usual tapas suspects”. We had a delicious lentil and potato stew (hot) with sourdough and broad beans with jamon and chorizo amongst a raft of similar deliciousness … and only one of the various dishes we had was what you’d call a “standard” (croquetas). MdF is also the only tapas bar I know in the UK which has a sherry list. I took the Leonor Palo Cortado which was delicious and not overly fruity or sweet. I was so glad to get back there … what a pity that the play my friend and I saw at the Young Vic afterwards (An Oak Tree) was pretentious rubbish.
