El Agave is the best authentic Mexican restaurant in San Diego. I've been here about a dozen times and always have a great experience. I like to explore the menu and try different items. One of my favorite is the Nopales salad. Healthy, fresh and deliciious. On this visit, I paired that with Duck Burrito. Glad I tried the duck - it was fab!

South of Nick’s is one of my favorite restaurants and never disappoints! The seafood enchiladas and seafood chile relleno are absolutely delicious and my go-to favorites. The experience starts off right with their amazing chips, bean dip, and salsas—it’s almost impossible not to fill up before dinner! The service is consistently excellent, the atmosphere is lively and welcoming, and the food keeps us going back. Always a great experience!
