We went there on a Tuesday evening. It was quiet. The interior is super cute (updated from previous restaurant). The food was surprisingly delicious. The place is only opened for dinner sadly. Would definitely recommend it

True Food has always been a place that understands dietary restrictions. Having lunch with a friend where each of us has diff needs is always pleasant. The server was tremendous and kindly moved us once the sun started melting us outdoors on a day that started overcast. You can't go wrong here as a gluten free diner when the rest of your party gets to eat "normal" and are equally pleased with the experience.

A truly delicious, filling, and beautiful 2 person prefix menu! The space is small but so cute. Sitting on the corner of alameda and sunset, someone was so sweet to open our window after the sun went down and it was easy to forget where you are and get lost in the ambiance and food. Beers seemed to be LA breweries and wines were from CA or WA. I would have loved some old world wine options but that’s just me lol. The food was delicious and so thoughtfully presented. I look forward to going back to try the rest of the menu!

Easy to make reservations online for the day and time we wanted to dine and to contact the restaurant to let them know we were on our way but 15 minutes late for our reserved time. Service was friendly. There was a DineLA Week menu (August 2026) that offered courses: appetizer, salad, entree, dessert and a beverage. It was a great value and allowed me and my husband to try different items on their main menu. All dishes even at Spice Level 1 are spicy, yet delicious.
