CUT at 45 Park Lane
Never had a bad meal here best steak in uk
Good service , though step lower over Hide Ground .
Good tasty meat .
It was good but not great on this occasion. I think this is largely due to the staff on the day. We’ve had better service and experiences here so I did not rate it as high as previous occasions.
Amazing service from everyone especially Ivans. Great food
The Price for Japanese pure wagyu beef should be made very clear as you could be misled thinking 6oz is £24. A guest on my table ordered 2 and he thought he was going to pay £58 but he ended up getting surprised when his bill came. I think the management of the restaurant should just change the menu and make it simpler. It’s should just be written 6oz £144. As simple as that. Just like the other prices for steak on the menu.
In all I thought the waiter should have explained this to us to avoid embarrassment. The steak was perfect but the price surprised us.
And the waiter serving us also made a huge mistake buy add x8 of a glass of wine to our bill even though we only ordered for a glass of wine. Someone won’t check this and will end up paying for it. I’m not sure how this was a mistake as I think the waitress knew what he was doing.
Was in town for business and took my wife along for the trip.
Every time we’re in London, we try to make it by this place as it has become one of our favorites. This time was no exception.
The service and the meal were excellent, as usual. The staff does not overlook any detail in making your experience wonderful.
My steak was perfectly cooked medium rare. The steak was seasoned properly to my liking, which I find rare in most London steak houses.
My wife’s steak was cooked perfectly as well.
Had a pleasant greeting and check in with the restaurant manager who made sure all was well.
At the end, the managing partner dropped by to check in with us as well.
The staff at this place really go out of their way to make you feel welcomed.
We can’t wait to go back.
I had the best steak with a mountain of black truffle and it was delicious. Meal finished with soufflé, and one the best soufflés I had. Service was spotless too. I would definitely go back.
Below Average service
Average value to quality food
Much better options in london
One of the best meat restaurants in London, very good service, delicious dessert, very good wine list, recommend to all
Amazing from start to finish, the food and service were both 5 starts!
I had tuna tartar for starter which was plenty and truffle mushroom agnolotti pasta both were so delicious, followed by beef filet mignon from Australia, roast potatoes and vegetables and I can tell you the meat was absolutely fantastic so tender it melt like butter..I be eating filet all my life and from most high end places but this one was definitely he most tender I’ve ever had!
The dessert was heaven aswell, I had a chocolate soufflé and it was enormous would definitely be enough for 2 people if you are already full
The food is always amazing! I highly recommend
Exceptional as always. Best dining place in Mayfair
I mainly visited this restaurant for the Japanese Wagyu steak. I pre-ordered thé steak as shown on thé online menue but thé steaks and different cuts were available in the restauran. The steak was cooked to perfection and it was unlike any steak Iv ever had. Had a great experience and it’s on my special occasion restaurant from now on.
We were hoping to catch the afternoon tea but came too early and decided to try the lunch menu. I’m glad we did as everything we ordered blew our taste buds. It was like a scene out of ‘when harry met sally’. The food tasted so good were didn’t use words only sounds of moans of appreciation. The burrata is the best I’ve ever had, the sea bass I highly recommend and the salmon salad was just heavenly.
Excellent cocktails and the meat is 2nd to none. CUT takes their level of service very seriously and it shows. Amust visit steakhouse.
BEST steak I've ever tasted. I had the Wagyu Sirloin and it was out of this world. Set the benchmark with this place.
I went with a party of 2 others in the summer as part of a birthday surprise, and loved the food and service. They been treated the birthday girl to a fruit and dessert plate which was a lovely touch.
I decided to book again for my sisters birthday in December, and specified that it was a birthday surprise in the booking notes. Firstly, we were seated at a table which was next to the door to go to the kitchen. Very annoying. We asked to be moved, and eventually this did happen.
Secondly - when taking our order, the waiter seemed very keen to push us into getting extra truffle with our food. I can only assume the waiters were on commission to sell this, as it was £48 to add 5g of truffle to any dish.
When ordering my steak, the waiter asked if I would like truffle on top. I said no, but said that I’d like to order a side with the steak - which was creamed spinach. The waiter again asked “with truffle?”
I asked if the truffle was included in the spinach, and he replied that it did and tasted very creamy with it. I said “that’s fine”, not realising that he had put through that I would like a £48 truffle topping (on my £10 creamed spinach!)
The same thing happened when he asked my sister about the mash potato. We couldn’t believe it when the bill arrived, with an extra £96 charge due to the truffle topping (that we hadn’t requested) on the sides.
We queried the charge with the waiter at the end, and his response was “the menu clearly states the cost of the truffle topping”. No apology, or offer to take one of the truffle charges off.
Furthermore, even though this was a birthday meal, there was nothing to acknowledge this. Whilst we weren’t expecting a free dessert plate, a happy birthday from our waiter would have been nice.
A real disappointment, especially considering the positive experience we’d had last time. Restaurants like Cut are all about the experience, quality of food and the service that you receive.
Went for a dinner before a show, I was alone and got a Rockstar treatment on the top of the amazing food.
Great dining experience at the Cut. Superb selection of meat cuts perfectly cooked. Very nice starters and wine list. Easily visit again .
Always a wonderful experience at CUT!
Exceptional, Excellent and Exquisite!
We have dined at many high end places in London and I can honestly say that the Service and food was perfect.
If you’re a steak lover this place will meet every expectation...
If you’re someone that appreciates excellent attentive service...
If you’re someone that appreciates great ambience and atmosphere...
If you’re celebrating a special occasion...
This is the restaurant for you!
You will not be disappointed!
I would like to thank all the staff from front reception through to the individuals serving. Team work is outstanding. Thank you for making my husbands birthday special.
Very good food, probably the best steak in London. However be prepared to pay extremely high prices even for London. The Wagyu steak is much higher in price but in all honesty the 'normal' aged beef is just as good.
Excellent in every respect
Awesome - save your pennies for a special event but try this place.
The steaks are sublime but everything else too is just outstanding from the tuna tartare to the chocolate soufflé.
Fabulous service, Excellent meal!
THE CUT is one of my favourite restaurants in the world, but I must fault it on its music. One is subjected to pop music at distastefully loud levels, even in the early evening! Why on earth does the management reduce the class of this elegant restaurant to street level? I do hope and pray that my voice is heard by management more clearly than my voice is heard by my dinner companions at my every visit to the restaurant. Such a shame.
Had very small selection of steaks which was disappointing. No steaks on the bone. And when I asked if I could have a burger instead it was denied.
Normally this is a special place but the lack of options was very disappointing and the waitress was not very accommodating to offer other Food.
Absolutely amazing experience once again. Been to CUT park lane twice and to many Wolfgang puck restaraunts around the world but this one is by far my favourite. Incredible service and the most delicious food with the finest steaks in London! The sweetcorn ravioli is amazing and Ofcourse the steaks are to die for. Highly recommended for a 5 star dining experience.
Simply amazing. The food was outstanding. Pricey but worth it.
Always impressed with this restaurant but it was the first time for my bf to try it out.... the look on his face when he had a taste of the beef fillet was something to take a snap of😁
This restaurant is great for steaks and they have the same menu across all of the CUT restaurants.
OMG. Great steak and some of the best food and wine I have had. I especially recommend any wine on their menu from 2012. BUT it comes with a relatively large price tag. Overall, the bill (a birthday treat for my boyf) came to around £700 which would get you a tasting course with paired wines at most michelin starred restaurants. I was super impressed overall though
Visited here with my husband for date night. Service Food and ambience superb. Would highly recommend
Fantastic steaks lovely mushroom sauce and very good side dishes simply the best steakhouse in london
Fantastic atmosphere and delicious food
The good: The food was mostly excellent. My steak was perfectly cooked and some of the sides and starters although unusual, all worked well together. The service was excellent with extremely attentive staff and a very knowledgeable sommelier.
With regard to the food, the only thing I can fault with the meal were the fries. Clearly undercooked and had a 'sweet' taste to them that should not have been there.
The venue is unfortunately terrible - they need to move this restaurant to another location that does the food justice. It feels like a hotel bar, which is probably what it was designed for. It is blisteringly hot, I did not understand how a modern venue had no air conditioning. The seating was all wrong, some of the tables had armchairs and we felt too close to the adjacent tables. The adjacent 'bar area' (which looks much the same, making me think the restaurant is an after-thought) decided to put a football match on their tv, with the volume on, which a single person was watching cheering his team, ruining the ambiance for everyone else. What were they thinking? We spent a lot of money on this meal and shall not be returning.
The host was really rude. And the steak level of cooking wasn’t as ordered.
