Great atmosphere with extensive menu and wine list. Service was extremely helpful and friendly. Will return!
Amazing as always! The service is impeccable, the food outstanding and the atmosphere is ideal for both large dinner parties as well as intimate date nights.
Good selection on menu. Have been many times to Daphne's and it is always reliable.
Terrific spot for a languid lunch or a dinner date. Super ambience, good food, nice eclectic choice of art on the walls - and the best spot to watch a well-heeled Chelsea crowd in full flow!
I have been going to Daphne’s since it opened it is always superb
Best front of house
Food always fantastic
a very pleasant evening and fantastic food and attentive service. recommend the vitello tonnato
Daphne’s is always a treat. Gorgeous food and lovely attentive staff.
Perfect in every single way, as always!
Always incredible food with friendly but hugely upscale service. Everyone loved it. Daphne’s never disappoints!
Great as usual. Always a joyful time.
Super evening with excellent food, wine and service.
Though I like Daphne’s a lot, this time the food was very average. Waiters pouring the wine constantly, as if to force you to a second bottle. Outside area ambience very poor 😢
As ever an excellent meal and service, I am always impressed with their consistency.
Good setting. Slow getting the drinks.
Wild boar ragu too salty.
Service improved after ordering highend wine.
Food was good but service was poor - feel like we were being ushered out. Ordered at 7:10 and were served starter and main by 7:30!
The service, food and ambience is consistently good at Daphnes. This restaurant is always full with families, couples and friends at lunchtimes on the weekend. The atmosphere is high end without being stuffy. The waiting staff are excellent, friendly and knowledgeable and the service is quick.
Highly recommend. The service was incredible
We've never had a bad experience at Daphne's that is why we continue on going time after time. The ingredients are always of exceptional quality, service and attention is just en pointe and the choices of dishes on the menu is always so difficult to decide upon! This will always be one of my favourite restaurants.
Amazing place for authentic italian food!
Seeing Hugh Grant in the bar was a very memorable instance. Good food and atmosphere but a bit noisy. Will certainly come back
Good food and amazing service
Daphne’s is a London classic for a reason- wonderful food with great style
Our favourite restaurant. The service and the food are second to none.
I booked this as a valentines treat for myself and partner. It was the perfect place for a special occasion, the service was excellent and the food was absolutely amazing! Would highly recommend
We eat at Daphne's often. Uncharacteristically, my main course (fish) arrived cold (which I did not send back but mentioned to the server). Also, the seating was cramped on this occasion, not necessary since the mid-section and the entire back of the restaurant was available. I asked for another table when we first sat down, but they said nothing else was available even though throughout lunch, the restaurant was half empty. This is unusual for Daphne's, as it is the only bad experience I have had there. I guess everyone deserves an off-day.
Daphne's is a favourite of my family. Great ambience, excellent food and service, always busy. Never disappointed.
Took my girlfriend and 2 10 year olds. We wanted a starter and the kids are young and a bit fussy so we asked if the chef could just do garlic bread for them as we fancied the tuna and scallops. We were told it wasn’t possible twice so in the end I had to get the manager and explain to him if his chef couldn’t put garlic and butter on a piece of foccacia then it was a real concern. Just spoiled the whole relationship - we weren’t asking for much and would never get that kind of resistance at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant.
I normally love Daphne’s but although our starters were excellent (we had the truffle pasta), our mains were disappointing. But mostly we were seated in the ‘mezzanine’ space between the front and back dining halls which lacked atmosphere. It was a slightly disappointing evening for such an elegant place.
It was nice but expected a lot more. Average food and poor service. Glad we went, the ambience is lovely, but won’t be bothering to go back.
Food wasn’t very fresh or nice quality but service was excellent
Wonderful table. Good wine and top food. The service was outstanding.
It did not live up to its usual good food. Something was wrong but that is rare. Its normally excellent.
Great place, wonderful service and bar
As someone who’s experienced bad Italian food in the past visiting Daphne’s has renewed my love affair with Italian food in this elegant setting. I’ve been recommending Daphne’s to everyone I’ve spoken to since my visit!!!
classic Italian top flight restaurant. always a.must.
I’m really not into Italian food. But this was excellent.
One of our 3 best restaurants in London. Every time is a treat. Consistently good. It’s feels like a personal dining room. This is how institutions are made.
