Very comfortable restaurant with lovely staff and excellent food. We had a lunch (not a set meal) and it was very tasty indeed, we will return.
Fabulous food, service and ambience.
Very good ambience,
Super restaurant. Haven't been for years and was reminded just how good it is. gret choice on the menu and the food was exceptional
Excellent lunch in gorgeous setting. Melon and beetroot starter was delicious. Will definitely return soon.
Consistently amazing food!! Fun atmosphere
this restaurant is very consistant in its food and service. Always a good meal.
Lovely restaurant with great service and a welcoming ambience . Knowledgeable staff. The food was pricey for what is was however it was all freshly and lovingly prepared and is located in a wealthy part of the city which raises the price tag. All part of the Chelsea experience.
Quality food in a wonderful environment served by attentive waiters.
The food at Daphne's was excellent. I had one of the best vitello tonnato and the octopus carpaccio was also excellent. We sat in the bar area for the first time. It was very comfortable. The service is very attentive.
Excellent food, service and ambience. Very buzzy restaurant with great vibes and lots of nice looking people. Would highly recommend.
Great food and atmosphere - will go again
Lovely food and very attentive staff
Lovely restaurant. The set lunch is a great deal. The wine list has some reasonable wine for a restaurant in that area.
The service was fantastic. Food excellent! High marks for the tuna tartar with avocado starter and the sea bass was delicious. Huge fish portion, too! Coconut gelato was unbelievable- tasted like you were biting into a real coconut.
Lovely staff and atmosphere. The street it’s on is so adorable, too.
I have gone to Daphne’s for years as I live locally. It is a little pretentious typical of RC restaurants. The food is ok but very pricey. I have cut down my visits as for a regular Italian is is way overpriced
Good food, nice atmosphere, best meal by far was the desert - wouldn’t touch the Vitello tonato - but I was expecting a more intimate Italian place. They churn tables every 2 hours.
I booked Daphne’s to celebrate my birthday. Six of us arrived almost all individually, and were looked after well from the moment we walked through the door to the moment we left.
At first I found the service a little intrusive as we seemed to be being bothered every couple of minutes with water too ups etc but this quietened down as we all settled in.
The food was fantastic, most of us went for the Sea Bass one for the meatballs and one for the squid, all of us loved our meals. Five of us ordered sides which we all shared, most noteable were the courgette frittas which were divine. We also had spinach with butter, spinach with garlic, Parmesan rocket and a bean/peas dish.
I had the sea bass as a main which sat on a bed of artichoke and tomatoes. The flavours complimented all of the sides, the fish was tender and flavourson with a crispy skin and all was well presented.
The desert I chose was Mango and coconut baked cheesecake. I was expecting it to be slightly heavy but it was delightfully light, fluffy and deliciously flavoursome. This was the highlight for me. As it was my birthday it had Happy Birthday written on it and a candle which is always a nice touch.
I have not been to Daphne’s for around ten years and it lived up to my recollections. It was always my favourite restaurant and up there with its sisters restaurant J Sheekeys in Leicester Square. Go and try them both, they are worth the ££!
We had a delicious dinner at Daphne’s, the service was very good, and we will return!
Great food and atmosphere - recommended
One of our favourite restaurants. Great seasonal menu. One of the best Italian restaurants in london. The pasta was great and so was the sole. Friendly service.
Perfect evening. Great food.
Excellent food and service!!!! 5 stars!!
The crowd was good, but there were a few loud ones.
I would recommend
Excellent as always - Love the Gamberoni with chilli and garlic.
Made for a special birthday lunch, the atmosphere was buzzy with families and friends groups, the food was faultless and delicious and the service spot on throughout. Memorable
I must confess to being pretty disappointed with Daphne’s on my last visit. It is usually my favourite Italian lunch place in London, but last weekend was a disappointment. Can’t fault the staff but where was the flavour in the food?! Prawn and avocado salad tasted like a prawn and avocado salad with 90% of the usual taste removed. And the ravioli? So dry it was a struggle to finish. Worst of all, the cheese board. I like strong cheese but one of the three should have only been used for cooking. A huge inedible chunk of pure pain. Seriously thinking of going elsewhere.
Lovely food, good range of options and helpful knowledgeable staff
Great evening. The food, the ambiance, and the attitude of the team are always superb.
As always, excellent food and excellent friendly and attentive service with a great ambience
We had a lovely lunch at Daphne's and I would definitely return. The restaurant itself is very attractive and comfortable. The staff were lovely and welcoming, while not rushing us at all. The food was really delicious too. Just a shame I didn't have room for a desert. I'd go out of my way to go their again. Thanks Daphne's.
Reliable and great. Recommended for breakfast lunch and dinner. Awesome service and excellent ambience for local casual dining. You won't ever be disappointed.
Amazing service and delicious food!
Very good, same as it every was, excellent. Service is brisk, not leisurely
Daphne’s continues to delight. Even on one of their busiest days of the years all was impeccable.
Traditional Italian restaurant with very good ambiance.
A little bit too noisy!
Always the same.
always a good lunch venue
Faultless service only blip was getting our dishes wrong way round. Food was superb. Really great. Would definitely come again!
First time but definitely not the last! Food was fantastic and service warm and efficient. What a gem!
