The chef is great! I have dietary restrictions and a friend is gluten free and they were great at making sure we didn't die!! The food is excellent and the environment is great! My partner and I have been on several occasions and will continue to go back. Make sure to get the soufflé started - it is to die for!!!

Nearly as perfect as the previous 5 times we have been for Sunday Roast. Unfortunately on this occasion, the bread was forgotten with the starter. So the soup came out and we had to ask for the bread, which had clearly been forgotten. We were advised that the bread would take 10/15 minutes. So by time the bread came, the soup was finished. This is super unfortunate because the bread is 40% part of the reason we go! Apart from that the rest of the meal and experience lived up to being “The Best Roast Dinner in London” It would be nice to one day see a Lamb option for the Roast Dinner. I could imagine Dean Street Town House to do a pretty mean Lamb Roast!

We chose The Townhouse as it was recommended in a book “London for instagrammers “ as a great brunch stop. We both had the full English breakfast and it was very good. The service was exceptional, and we thorough enjoyed the whole experience.

Food is consistently good, great vibe inside, reasonable prices. Good for a date or a casual catch up. The food took a while to come (50mins from ordering breakfast) and a few other tables around us also had to chase for their food, but otherwise a safe and great choice.

Good fun. I love the ambience in there, especially pre-theatre. We were there around 6pm in the evening and, by the time we left, there was a decent queue. We’ll definitely come back. Knocked a star off the value as the water was expensive and, if you stray from the set menu, the price rapidly increases. But, the food is good.

Lovely atmosphere with great service, & ‘bubbles’ served in the right glasses (in my opinion!) Fish & chips were excellent. This place is definitely worth a visit if in SoHo - need to book as popular.

Lovely venue to spend the time between the two shows at the theatre. Not much choice for a vegetarian - but ok if you eat fish.

Very limited brunch menu, and food OK, but not outstanding. Service started off being incredibly efficient and friendly, but sever changed and restaurant got busier and service tailed off considerably, to the point that we only just made it to the theatre in time.

Went here for a mid-week afternoon tea. The food was delicious, tea (and their house champagne!) very refreshing and the service was excellent. It was warm and cosy and very relaxing. Thank you to all the team.

I took my husband for brunch to DST and had a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. We sat near the open fire which was very nice and relaxing compared to a busy restaurant (which you can also experience in the main side of DST). The staff was friendly, the interior had a nice home-feel. I told the staff on booking it was my husband's birthday and very sweetly they brought over some delicious truffles! I would recommend for people working from home, wanting a laid back meal and a cosy open fire.

My partner and I were seeing a show at the Soho Theatre and decided to try the theatre menu. The options were great, and we opted to have 3 courses. The best thing is that you can have 2 courses before the show and go back for dessert and you receive a complimentary glass of prosecco.

The service was very attentive and the quality of the food was excellent. he portions were generous and the wine list is very good. The theatre menu is excellent value. Would definitely go back.

Good food, excellent service in atmospheric surroundings. Would come again. Pre theatre menu is limited but good enough, Restaurant is near to Shaftsbury avenue and therefore convenient for many of the London theatres

Food was cold. Service a little slow as the restaurant was full. We were given a low table - very uncomfortable. Make sure you ask for a proper table when you book if you find low seating uncomfortable.
I have had many good experiences at DST and this one did not live up to the usual high standard.

We return to Dean St. every year when visiting London From New York. It has now been many years and though it has changed in menu, it has remained a consistently pleasurable experience. It is one of the nicest rooms to dine in of anywhere we know.

Very nice place with attentive staff. I definitely recommend. Not a crazy looking menu, it is no nonsense British food as the baseline and a little more.
My food was lukewarm and they simply replaced it completely (I was happy to have it warmed up...)
Wine list is quite long if that is your thing.
Found it a bit busy at the time we arrived (20.30) but it is a small price to pay...I guess others have been and loved it too!
