I’ve been to the bar many times and this was my first sitting down for dinner. The food was great, we had steak tartare followed by more steak agh all sides which were delish. The service was impeccably, very polite, happy and efficient waiting staff. Lovely lit candles on on tables. Excellent evening!

My husband and I came here for a pre theatre meal through an offer with Delfont Mackintosh theatres, we were also celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary. The pre theatre menu was limited but the choices had everything we liked. The food was amazing and plentiful and the service was second to none making our experience very special indeed. We will certainly go back.

This is not a restaurant for a quiet conversation. It was incredibly noisy, so bear in mind when booking. The food was good but not amazing. There appeared to be a mix up with our order with a very long wait for food, but to be fair to the restaurant they did remove the service charge without being asked, which was a good point.

We used to get nice bread as well with the meal. Now there is none and everything seems to be meaner

Unlike all previous visits, our experience on 5th June was short of enjoyable. The main course, roast chicken, was dry and distinctly tasteless. The people on the table next to us , in close proximity, were incredibly loud …to screaming pitch. A far from pleasant visit.
