Delicious by Franco
Great food. The pizzas are great and so is their fish selection! Highly recommend this family run business
Lovely small restaurant
Really good no frills Italian food at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.
Superb food and run by excellent professionals who really know how to look after you.
Food tasted good, but perhaps a bit pricey for what it was
A really good find. Excellent food and warm service. Would highly recommend.
Fantastic pizza, lovely staff! A great place for a quiet, tasty, reasonably priced meal.
Small intimate place. Authentic Italian run. Come and feel welcomed and looked after.
This is a true local gem. Two lovely ladies from the Veneto and their fantastic chef (he is, after all, Franco) serve wonderful food with real imagination and fantastic flavours. We love it and it is our special restaurant of choice. The range of pizza toppings are just delicious (see what I did there?) and the short wine list is superb.
Just the best Italian food I’ve had. And such good value for money.
This is a great little find in Kentish town, the food is amazing, tasty and feels light.
It's a family run place and very welcoming.
The service is Great, friendly and happy to help with what is nice on the menu.
I love the price of it too as the food is so delicious. Give it ago, make sure you book before hand, as places are limited.
You will not be disappointed, you will walk out on a high.
I can't recommend it enough.
But this just my opinion!
Nice, quiet and quaint restaurant which was great to go to before a gig at the Forum nearby. Will return for sure
Food was excellent and authentic as my Italian girlfriend can confirm!
Lives up to it's name.
Perfect for dinner before a show at the O2 Forum (just across the road).
Service is prompt and friendly, restaurant is cosy and quiet and the pizzas are fabulous. Couldn't fault it and will return for sure.
What a gem!!! So glad we found this restaurant to eat at before a show at O2 Forum. The food is authentic Italian and is just amazing!! Excellent wines and ambiance made for a wondeful all round experience. Will definitely call here again when in London!!!
I don’t visit this part of the world very often, but when I do I come here. It’s a cosy place, the staff are always attentive and friendly and the food is always good and tastes like authentic home cooked Italian cuisine. Never disappoints!!
me & my husband had a lovely night food was great staff very friendly I loved the restaurant really lovely thank u guys
We went for valentines and were looked after extremely well, given lots of extras like chocolates and a rose. Portions are large and great value, really authentic Italian pizzas and tiramisu was wonderful! Ambiance is also great for an evening meal. Would highly recommend going to the shop rather than ordering a takeout pizza as they’re much hotter!
Food was amazing, could not complain about a single thing. The women who served us were very lovely, giving lots of information about Italy. Service was a bit slow at times, but have found my new favourite Italian restaurant.
Came here for a meal before Songhoy Blues at the Forum.
Ordered beers and house Orvietto and 4 pizzas. The pizza dough was perfect light, chewy, flavorfull and thin. The four different toppings were classic Napoli pizzas and perfect. Best pizza in LONDON at the moment... The owners actually invented the type of pizza oven that stands in the middle of the Restaurant which is now sold worldwide. Get a tabler near it and watch the spinning pizzas cook over flame. The family are VENITIAN so the the rest of the menu reflects this with as many risotto dishes as pasta.
A long held favourite, so glad to see this friendly and special eatery is still going strong. I would recommend a visit.
Good atmosphere and deliciopus anthentic italian food
Would recommend to anyone. Get the cuttlefish!!
We ate here before a gig at the nearby Forum, just over the road. Although the tables are very tightly packed in, the quality of the food, the service and the VFM are all excellent. It appears to be a traditional, family-run restaurant - the quality and care given to the dishes is so much better than going to a generic pizza/pasta chain. Highly recommended.
Small and cosy dining room, a good range of Italian dishes, many fish based, and delicious pizza.
Dessert was superb.
Great little place - nice pasta and friendly service.
Delicious by name and nature.A wonderful intimate restaurant that provides that 'special something' for notable occasions ,with superbly presented and served food and drink. An old favourite worth returning to, time and again.
Very welcoming good food well cooked . Variety of dishes and all excellent.
Food was fantastic. We sat at the front and watched Kentish Town life as we ate.
Small place but very cosy, friendly, warm, and the food was delicious. I had salmon from the specials list which was amazing, and a lovely big portion too. Will go back next time we're at the Forum!
Am a regular, always good. Differentiated Italian regional cuisine from Veneto. A classic family-run neighbourhood restaurant. Outstanding service. Recommend the specials.
The evening at Delicious by Franco was absolutely perfect on all levels. The welcome was warm and attentive - my request for a quiet, window table had been taken into account and we were sat by the window. The service was relaxed but efficient. The atmosphere was lively but not loud, a mixture of locals and destination diners, clearly. The food was inventive, so fresh, tasty, colourful, plentiful and just, well ...delicious! We shared the special starters: calamari, so fresh and tasty with its 2 accompanying sauces and layered fresh mozzarella, grilled courgette, cherry tomato, shrimp and pesto - an explosion of flavours! My friend's risotto was creamy and rich without being heavy, the seafood generous, while my Bigoti al Nero di Seppia (a special Venetian pasta we discovered that night, with squid ink and wonderful chunks of fresh squid), was a journey to Italy in itself. The carafe of Chianti was a lovely accompaniment to it all. We rounded off the meal with a moorish creme brulee and a decadent-does-not-do-it-justice sweet Nutella pizza!!! Crazy but so divine!!! This was our first but DEFINITELY not our last sitting at Delicious by Franco, I cannot recommend it enough. We were made to feel at home while being served homemade gastronomy. Perfect, I tell you.
A lovely restaurant - the seafood specials are delicious
Tried this place out on the offchance before a gig at the Forum. Was very pleasantly surprised. It is a really great little family run restaurant, no pretentions, lovely food (superb fresh baked pizza in a lovely feature pizza oven) and an intimate atmosphere.
Honestly with so many choices available in London this one needs to try harder. Nothing seriously wrong but just a bit Ho-Hum.
Great Italian food. Extremely popular restaurant . A good place to visit if you're going to The Forum in Kentish Town.
What a find. If you like a cosy authentic Italian experience then this is for you. The food was gorgeous and there was lots of it. Ended up talking to a very funny couple and it made the experience. Lots of Italian customers. Would definitely go again.
The atmosphere was friendly and intimate. The food was cooked to perfection and certainly lived up to its namesake - delicious. I felt as if I had gone to a friend's place for dinner and lovingly looked after. Altogether, a real treat.
I like this restaurant a lot. It is small and cosy with nice decorations. It is perfect for a nice dinner with friends. Campared to other places it is really quiet and perfect for talking to your partner and/or friends. The food is very good and authentic. The prices are reasonable and almost cheap for the excellent food they are serving.
