The exciting twenty-eight seat restaurant d’floret is a modern elegantly-lit stage, featuring an open kitchen and adjoining dining room that exhibit the chef’s dual passions: Foy’s paintings and culinary mastery. The space is accented by a floor-to- ceiling Black Walnut Nakashima panel, lighting by Ayala Serfaty, the Israeli artist, with Arnie Jacobsen modern Classic chairs, finishing the sleek warm welcoming room. Please note, due to high demand and limited seating, in addition to online holds we require diners call the restaurant to reconfirm your by 12pm day of, or it will not be honored.
Food was very good but pricey. The service was just OK
Still amazing after all these years. Great appetizers with mushrooms — check (a wonderful soup and an equally delicious crepe). Terrific main courses — check (swordfish, duck and what was tantamount to a langoustine pot pie). Desserts that honor the rest of the dinner — check (peach pie and profiteroles). Service remains top-notch. Just a wonderful experience.
Wonderful choice of simple to understand but delicious food. Very understated surroundings, no pretense. Very relaxed. Thoroughly enjoyed it despite 15 hours of travelling!
We were able to dine outside on a beautiful evening. Food is excellent
Service was prompt. Owner very pleasant.
We had the mushroom crepe which was excellent, scallops which was quite good and a rack of lamb with Ratatouille which was also excellent. However, it took forever for bread to arrive and then for our meal to be served and the lamb was lukewarm. The table next to us arrived about the same time we did and they were served and left 30 minutes before us . They took the rack of lamb back and reheated it and it was fine.
We always have an outstanding experience at d'floret, and Saturday was no exception. Fresh, delicious menu options every time. The mushroom crepe and chicken entree were wonderful and we can't wait to get back there again.
It was great. My meal was amazing. I would go back
Tha food was delicious & the staff was very attentive. However, we were very disappointed to discover that it was a BYOB. We had no idea & never saw it on your web site. Also, I kept getting notifications about our reservation but no mention of bringing our own wine. Fortunately there was a liquor store a block away.
Also we had no idea there was outdoor seating. It was a beautiful evening & we were never told or offered the opportunity to dine outdoors. We would have enjoyed the opportunity.
The highest quality ingredients combined with artistic preparation make d’floret a dining experience that never disappoints.
My wife and I had a wonderful time at the restaurant on Friday evening. We sat in the courtyard and it was delightful, relaxing, and quiet. The food was terrific as usual and we had a leisurely dinner. I very much enjoyed the salmon (cooked to perfection) and the mushroom appetizer was excellent as was the peach tart. The service was just about perfect. Of course, we will return when we are visiting the area. You are in fine hands at d'floret.
I really liked the food, which was well prepared and evident of its freshness and quality. The atmosphere is quite noisy, and tight quarters, at least in the interior space. We did have a reservation, but still waited about 20+ minutes, which I wouldn’t have minded, had the staff and hostess communicated the status a little better. I had the mushroom crepes, which were good and the rack of lamb, which was excellent and perfectly cooked and seasoned! My husband had the cucumber salad, tomato confit (that I believe the hostess coined as “summer-in-a-bowl” and she was spot on) which was absolutely delicious and the veal Bolognese, which was also very good, but think left him a little underwhelmed after seeing my rack of lamb.
If you’re looking for city quality food, this is the place in new hope or lambertville. Owner operated with a great vibe.
Another great meal along with friendly service!
This place was a wonderful “find” for us. We frequently dine in the Lambertville area but had never been here. We loved the garden setting. The service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Each dish was well prepared and tasted very fresh. The evening was a delight and we will be back!
All was excellent
The ambience of the patio was delightful. The staff is very friendly and the service was just the right amount of attentive.
The food was delicious, and beautifully presented. We had the cucumber salad - tangy, fresh and light. I had the lamb, which was cooked perfectly. My friend ordered the salmon, which was also tasty (yes! I tried some)
Great date spot!
Service was pleasant and prompt. Lamb was perfect. The chocolate mouse was rich and wonderful. Parking available right outside.
Great food. Hidden gem. Very small place. Nice people and good service. Highly recommend.
Great food and staff, always a pleasant and satisfying experience!
Chef is fabulous, his wife is welcoming and accommodating; an outstanding overall dining experience.
Food was par below. Lamb was raw, dessert was not good
Very good food. BYOB a strong positive and a real money-saver. Nice room and nice service. I live in New York and am accustomed to paying a premium for good food. Great scallop and corn main dish special at dinner - $36 for 3 [albeit very tasty] scallops was a stretch, however.
Birthday dinner and it was such a special intimate night. Estella and her team always do an amazing job. Absolutely amazing
Service was impeccable, couldn’t ask for a friendlier staff. The owners wife was so accommodating. The food was amazing. The crab cake was delicious and all lump crab. The tuna special was fresh and cooked perfectly. Couldn’t have asked for a better date night. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend this to anyone looking for fine dining in an intimate atmosphere that is off the beaten path.
Scallops for only three was too expensive and disappointed my wife and I
Terrific. Salmon and lamb chops were superb.
Excellent food. Creative preparations.
A bit small and crowded. Food arrived quickly but other service was slow.
Pricey. Cash only. Waited 30 minutes for bill and change.
Food was delicious, no doubt! But alot of other places have delicious food. We weren't a regular and thus our service was only okay. Also know they only take cash or personal check! Doesn't say anywhere this and it was embarrassing.
The service was great, staff very friendly. Food was delicious the tuna special was amazing, it was a different flavor with each bite. Great for special occasions.
This is a small restaurant where you can see the open kitchen and its very accomplished chef from every table in the house. The menu is small but diverse enough to have something to please everyone. I had mushroom crepes followed by scallops on a bed of pureed parsnips. The three other guests at my table had the sauteed gnocchi and the rack of lamb. Everything was beautifully plated and tasted delicious. The four of us look forward to returning to d’floret the next time we are in the area to attend a play at the Bucks County Playhouse.
Excellent food and service!
My husband had the steak which is always phenomenal (aged for 24 days) and large! I had the most excellent halibut ever.... I am NOT a fish eater however i knew that i would love it here and i did love it! Estella's new mushroom crepe is quite delicious......i usually get soup or a salad but since she said that it was a new item on the menu i decided to try it! glad i did! And we hardly ever order dessert but how can you pass up the most delicious apple pie/ice cream in bucks! mmmmm!
Wonderful, flavorful, creative food. A terrific gem.
Dinner at D’Floret is fantastic. The food is creative and delicious. Sitting in the back courtyards is a treat.
Best meal I have had in NJ in a long time. I can't believe this place has been there for six years and we hadn't tried it until last week-end. Bread, crepes, deserts and the langoustine in a crust were amazing. I definite "don't miss" place.
Amazing food. Best part of it is that it is organic and locally grown.
It was the best meal I’ve ever had! I’m definitely going back again and again.
The food was exceptional. Tables nicely separated. Service was attentive. A small bistro sized facility. A restaurant worth multiple visits.
One concern is that food came out very quickly
If not for the long drive to get there, we’d dine at D’floret or Cafe Loret more often. Although we tend to gravitate to menu selections that have become our favorites, this past visit showed that the heeding the advice of the hostess is a great idea. While the crab appetizer is tops, the recommended tortellini and mushroom crepe appetizers were great selections. My wife can’t stray from the scallop main course. For me it’s almost always the rack of lamb, both the best we’ve ever had. We will probably go to Cafe Loret next time. What a pleasure having two great restaurants to choose from.
