Dinner by Heston Blumenthal Ratings and Reviews
Fantastic knowledgeable service, friendly and on the ball. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone looking after us shared information about the menu options or wine. Demonstrating a real passion for what the do. The food is traditional but sensational. Great flavour combinations from some traditional and historical dishes brought up to date and supercharged in a way only Heston can. A brilliant experience.
Fantastic experience. The scene was set from the off with the grand entrance to the hotel, and polite friendly staff to great on arrival. The staff were exceptional. As expected they were knowledgeable about the menu and the Heston theatre, however the smiles and attentiveness really shone through throughout.
The food was stunning. Tasty, fun, interesting - a real flavour sensation. The real star of the show from my meal was the Tipsy Cake - tasted amazing and highly recommended.
Will definitely visit again.
In London for a friend’s wedding and was recommended by colleagues back home in Sydney Australia. Easily one of the best dining experiences we have ever enjoyed. The meals were perfectly balanced in flavor and texture.
Simply a joy.

Flawless. Impeccable service from the moment we arrived, (excellent Hemingway Special by the barman) until we left. While the Heston cuisine concept could be construed as gimmicky and difficult to translate from Fat Duck scale to big city hotel scale, the entire experience was superb. Menu has all the trademark idiosyncrasies but underpinned by outstanding cooking. Service was outstanding, enormously attentive without being intrusive, so too the sommelier. No “destination restaurant” nonsense, the food and the diners’ enjoyment was always paramount. Loved every minute.
This is our 3rd time dining here. Excellent as usual, very consistent. The duck breast is outstanding, tipsy cake is stellar! There isn’t anything on the menu that is a miss. I just wish I left enough room for the ice cream, but I’m sure I’ll try it when we’re back in London.
