Food, service, wine, ambiance were all spectacular! Definitely recommend for a special occasion
Excellent food and service, charming staff
Incredible experience with fantastic view of Hyde Park! Fantastic service complimented the incredible cuisine!
Definetely it`s reccomended as experience. It`s a 2 Michelin Star in the UK, but wouldn`t be in other countries such as France or Italy. So, if you ever had dinner in a Michelin restaurant in those countries, do not compare it. The level of the service, wine list and food (preparation, creativity, execution) is outstanding. However, the noise in the restaurant it`s not nice for a Michelin restaurant or fine dining experience. Too many tables and any advice how people should experience that restaurant. this could be the next challenge for Dinner: educate people to observe silence and quite letting the food express itself. I`d prefere a tasting menu option, which was not available that night. I suppose in any night. it`s only a La Carte and I guess this is a choice to offer a fast service for the number of tables or just to have more table turnarounds.
The Wine list is outstanding even if the cost is higher than normal Michelin. I`d prefer more choice of wines with a normal level of price for any wallet. As usual in London, the mark up on the wine bottles is very high and a real wine lover doesn`t enjoy totally. however, I found very interesting the Aglianico del Vulture choice, even if a little bit pricey compared to the market.
however, definetely worth a visit. I gave 85/100.
Outstanding service and and even better food! Definitely lived up to expectations and would highly recommend it to a friend. Could not fault the food at all
Don't even wonder about it, just do it! It was an incredible experience: food was outstanding, service was fantastic and our server even arranged a kitchen tour for our teenaged daughters. Wish we could do it all over again!
Very, very average and extraordinarily overpriced for what amounts to gastropub quality. Style over substance and pretty disappointed to have paid over £100 a head for this. Never again.
Great food and experience
One has to budget a long sitting time
Best birthday experience i could have asked for, for my girlfriend
A delicious experience. Service was outstanding.
I really enjoyed this restaurant!
The staff were so polite and knowledgable which is actually very rare in London. They have staff that know what they’re doing and can advise on everything.
The restaurant is pretty and the low lighting is ideal. The tables have space in between so you get privacy too!
I was so excited to eat here! The food was nice and I would say the price is justified by location and service! The food was actually a bit more basic and not as fun as I hoped. The most “interesting” thing on the menu was meat fruit which is basically pate in the form of an orange or plumb. I suppose The Fat Duck might have steam and lights and whistles but this place was far more commercial than that.
As a place to go for a special occasion it is nice but I wouldn’t bother going again because the food didn’t blow me away and I’d rather go to somewhere with bigger portions and not such cheap meat.
The meat options were chicken, pigeon, pork and steak and the fish was cod an turbot. Not really sure why they wouldn’t get “luxury” cuts for a luxury menu. Making cheap meat luxury is great but I’d rather pay £50 for a lamb, veal, deer, rabbit, pheasant, lobster, salmon, duck, goose, even sea snails, prawns, octopus ...
Entrée was great , the mains were nice too. The so call signiture dessert tipsy cake is very very average. It is too sweet, and the pineapple is sour. The cake basically the worse version of crispy cre donut with a sweetening sauce....
It is a great experience overall but world 42, I expect more.sorry.
A lovely place within the beautiful hotel surroundings. Food was excellent and the service even better. The menu is small but varied and the venue is just the right size too.
almost perfect; only complaint is the long wait between appetizer and main course. Excellent service otherwise. Lives up to its reputation .
I love the concept, love the space... Service was sporadic. Knowledge of the food was outstanding, however, it seemed chaotic and unorganized. The appetizers were exceptional (Meat Fruit, Earl Grey Tea Cured Salmon, Rice & Flesh, Buttered Crab Loaf). Entrees were, unfortunately, inconsistent... Roast Turbot - exceptional. Roast Cauliflower - meh... Truffle & macrows was weird. Iberico Pork Chop - 1 delicious, 1 dry & over cooked. Cod in Cider - outstanding. Hereford Ribeye - good, not great. Triple cooked chips - delicious. Desserts were ok. Tipsy Cake - outrageous!! Chocolate drops - missed the mark. Brown bread ice cream - good, but forgettable... Sambocade - stupid good!! Overall, it was good and a great experience... However, I enjoyed The French Laundry, CA far more start to finish. Their attention to detail and perfection is noticed. Le Bernardin, NY also exceptional start to finish... Leaving both FL & Le B I was satisfied and did not feel that I overpaid, however, leaving Dinner by Heston I felt we overpaid for our experience.
Unbelievable. Although expensive, but what fine dining isn’t, the tastes we experienced as well as the service brought to us by Siri, our server assistant, was amazing. We spent over two hours there for just three main courses which felt like the perfect amount of time. The portions are normal, but because of the pacing we left stuffed. It was perfect. Thank you Heston and Co. for an amazing meal!
We went as a family of four and we are very rarely all bowled over by the quality of the food. We each sampled different dishes off the menu and they were all delicious.
Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of going!!
We had planned a special Dinner here for my husbands 40th birthday. Initially We were disappointed with the bar not being part the restaurant and the toilets so far away... the decor wasn’t what we expected but was looking forward to the food. Unfortunately it was just as disappointing and nothing like we had expected from a Heston menu. The chicken oyster starter was lovely, my husband thought his crab loaf starter was very bland. For main I had the spiced pigeon and he the cauliflower.... both very bland and disappointing, no crazy twists or big flavors. The cauliflower was £48 and pretty much consisted of 2 florets!!!!! The champagne and red wine were delicious! We’re so disappointed we didn’t stick around for desert!
My third time here. The service is great, sommeliers was great. First courses was great. But the vegetarian main bar very salty and not balanced. Also the goat cheese cheese cake was also to sweet and not balanced in flavor.
Food was really well prepared and presented, often was comprised of sous vide rep with pan, oven or salamander finish. And if anything the service was even better, for the waiter and his team to the sommelier, who recommended individual dish pairing by the glass rather than a bottle for the table. All spot on. Only very minor gripe, was the lack of a tasting menu, which you normally see with Heston and in 2 Michelin starred restaurants
One of the best meals we’ve ever had & given that the food was quite simple, that’s a real testament to how great the ingredients were & how expertly prepared it was. It was expensive, but not bad value as the food was twice the price of a normal restaurant but way more than twice as good. It would have been good if there were some cheaper options for drinks.
Pleasantly surprised to have been offered the tasting menu for Saturday lunch as this was not available when I booked. Great service amazing food.
Slightly underwhelming. Very good solid food, but without much interesting backstory beyond dates in brackets on the menu. Despite (because of?) huge numbers of staff our cocktail order never arrived, and the ambiance was comfortable but not quite impressive to the level of a special occasion restaurant or justifying the price tag. Certainly one to have ticked off, but not worthy of a second visit.
Had a great lunch for my mom’s birthday! All services were absolutely amazing. We all loved foods, each dish was just stunning!
The food, ambience and especially the service is outstanding. From entering to leaving, everyone is very kind, hospitable and extremely knowledgable. I would highly reccomend the meat fruit for starters. The chicken asparagus main, was the best chicken I have ever had. Finally the Tipsy cake for dessert was the star of the show. I Would also highly reccomend the liquid nitrogen ice cream as an experience, its yummy but also the whole performance is great. Would highly reccomend this place.
Really enjoyed the experience. Food was great. It was interesting to see what other guests were being served. Watching ice cream being made at a table was fabulous.
Of course, it is expensive but you go there knowing that.
Lovely staff and food
I have had the chance to dine here on more than one occasion. Everything that you would expect from a 2 Michelin star restaurant and more. The experience is surreal and the place makes you feel special. The food is incredible the service is out of this world.
Couldn't recommend it enough!
I had never been to a high end restaurant before and the whole experience didn’t disappoint. The food was magical, the service excellent and the whole ambience was incredible. I loved it.
Absolutely Incredible. Attention to detail was a sight to behold and the flavors are pure and vivid. Heston Blumenthal is a master of the palate and he conducts an orchestra of flavors with his takes on British cuisine through the ages.
Fantastic food and recreations/reinterpretations of British cuisine. I started off with the chicken oysters and my wife the meat fruit and both were superb. For entrees I had the turbot and my wife the pork. The turbot was cooked well but I personally was not a fan of the green sauce, the pork was great and fantastic sauce. For desert we split the bread pudding or tipsy cake, holy cow that was amazing!,,
Lovely lunch at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal. The food was super fresh and delicious. The sommelier was incredibly helpful and introduced us to a fantastic new wine region. Gorgeous view of the park from our window. Can't wait to return.
As always, top food top service top everything! Thank u Heston!
I ordered a turbot but was served a pork chop.
It was beautifully cooked otherwise.
Excellent food and service.
Fabulous. Fabulous. Fabulous! Couldn’t have asked for more!
Outstanding across the board as always, it’s our favorite place to dine in London.
The food, staff and ambience is always fantastic and we always leave saying how incredible the experience was.
Fantastisches Essen in einer super Location mit tollen Service. Dinner by Heston Blumenthal ist sein Geld wert. Wir können da Restaurant wärmsten empfehlen.
