Opened on 31st January 2011 in Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, two Michelin stars Dinner by Heston Blumenthal is a collaboration between Heston Blumenthal and Ashley Palmer-Watts who spent endless hours of research in the British Library and the kitchen archives at Hampton Court Palace to create a menu inspired by historic recipes and cookbooks, with elements dating as far back as 79 AD.

From entry into the restaurant until we left. The people, the food, the wine was outstanding. Can not fault anything.
One last lunch before lockdown! Was fabulous as expected. Meat fruit was a highlight, and also loved the bread! Tipsy cake and the tamarind tart were a great end to the meal.

Visited Dinner quite a few times now. Food was excellent and the set lunch menu offers exceptional value.
Wonderful experience, staff were amazing, food awesome...such a shame it was as quiet as it was due to COVID but didnt spoil a wonderful experience for us.
Outstanding quality of food. The depth of flavour and work that goes into every morsel is evident. As a treat or special occasion I would highly recommend.

We were unfortunately very underwhelmed by Dinner. The food was tasty but not memorable. I was hoping for exciting food, cooked to perfection, but sadly the food we ordered was not that exciting!!

Great service, food, drink, attention to detail. Very enjoyable meal.
Food was excellent but the standard of service was below what I would expect from a Michelin star restaurant. Also the ambience/ decor was more akin to a budget bistro rather than a fine dining restaurant.
The starters and desserts were delicious but I have had better steaks for half the price in my local restaurant. The drinks were way overpriced £22.50 for a vodka and tonic! The best thing about this restaurant was the service the staff could not do enough for you, never been treated so well anywhere fantastic staff.
Everything we expected and more. A perfect dining experience.
