Food was excellent
Service was also excellent
This was our 5th visit and we loved it all
This restaurant is incredibly good in all respects. An experience not to miss.
Everything we expected it to be and so much more. Would I recommend Dinner by Heston? Yes Would I go back? Yes without any hesitation. The food was amazing as was the service and the drinks. The atmosphere was fabulous. We both ordered Meat fruit which is a must and also The tipsy cake delicious and although I’d like to try the other desserts which all looked amazing I don’t think I could ever not order The tipsy cake. I ordered it because of all the reviews it’s mentioned in and it’s even better than I imagined.
Everything about this restaurant was wonderful. The food interesting and delicious. Service was outstanding. It is a welcoming space and not pretentious.
The best food & experience I’ve ever come across
It was a pleasure. We had saved up for a bit to do this and it was worth it. The staff were simply brilliant, attentive and polite. Mr Wolinski provided a wonderful welcome and the table side ice cream was the theater we were looking for. Wanted to go in and give appropriate praise to the kitchen team but thought it better not to hygiene wise. Starter and dessert were the knock-outs for me, chicken cooked with lettuces seemed to me to be slightly lacking - that said I left absolutely nothing and was still tempted to pick up the plate and lick it. Wont be bringing the car again, jaysus the expense in parking was a shocker. We'll start putting a few euro away a week into a piggy bank and will be back when it is 3/4 full - or maybe we should hit the Fat Duck next. Thank you, sincerely.
A great way to celebrate our daughter’s wedding
Excellent venue for a special occasion, beautiful ambience serving delicious and interesting food. Service was attentive yet unobtrusive and friendly. Loved it!
The food was delicious - we had the meat fruit and the rice and flesh to start, then the seabass and pigeon for dinner, followed by the tipsy cake and a chocolate pudding. All were incredible. The service was quite slow (over 30 minutes between the starter and main course) and they don't quite have enough staff for the number of tables. Michelin star for food is well deserved. Not sure if the service is Michelin star worthy. We would still come back though!
Real culinary experience! The dishes were different and delicious, portions just right. The only downfall was the prices. Menu has just enough options, we had steak and cauliflower, both delicious.
A perfectly executed lunch. The starters were very interesting and creative (as you would expect from Heston) but the main courses, whilst excellent, were a little too pedestrian.
Food was impeccable and uncomplicated. Servers were pleasant and explained the dish simply but well. I loved the relaxed atmosphere and whole dining experience. I’ll definitely come back.
If in London Dinner by Heston Blumenthal is a must, from entering the restaurant till you leave is an experience in which you will remember for a long time.
As for the food, absolutely delicious.
The staff very friendly and professional, thank you for a wonderful evening, especially Richard the sommelier, excellent choices in wines.
Absolutely amazing food, lovely attentive staff. Excellent evening
Good Service, good Food
Great food great wines, but too pricey. 200 per head is steep even for a top rated restaurant. However service was great too and a good evening had by all.
I feel the desert menu was rather limited , was expecting something on the lines of steamed or suet puddings with custard, dishes but with Heston twist. Just as the main courses were.
The food is delicious the service great and the atmosphere is amazing. A wonderful experience : we will be back.
The most amazing dinner experience. All the flavors play perfectly together.
The service at this restaurant was outstanding and the food was very good. It is a bit expensive though. I have been to many fine dining restaurants which were not as expensive but with the food being of an equal high standard. I would recommend going there but check the prices including the wine list ! Also being sat next to the waiter stand was slightly annoying but overall an enjoyable experience.
Went to the restaurant for a birthday celebration. The food was amazing both in taste, quality and presentation. The staff were superb. Extremely knowledgeable on every item in the menu and happy to provide advise regarding food and wine. The ambiance was fantastic for a quiet romantic dinner. Essentially, the best dining experience that i have ever had
Nice restaurant, friendly staff who were knowledgeable in what we had ordered. Staff attentive... I enjoyed being told about the history of the meals and the era they came from...nothing was mentioned about Heston’s influence or involvement in this restaurant. The food was very nice but the main course was expensive for the size of it. I wasn’t super impressed with this restaurant. The hotel is lovely looking however.
Whilst our starter was fantastic the main course was very average and I’ve had better meals. The price was not the problem it was the quality of the main course. We had the pigeon and the fillet steak. The sides were beautiful but the meats were not cooked well and very bland. The bar staff were very slow and forgot our drinks after waiting 15 minutes. Also small details I thought were lacking were the quality of the menus - very cheap paper. And also the napkins weren’t placed on our lap when we were taken to the table. Might be small and little details but these are the things I was looking for from a Michelin star restaurant.
I feel the owners name carries the weight but the experience fell short of expectation.
Distinctly underwhelmed. Food not nearly as good as we were expecting, the room was chilly even on an unusually warm Easter weekend and service petered out towards the end of service.
Won’t be returning. Big fans of Heston but not on the basis of this visit!
Every time we come to London, we will book Dinner for our everyday dinning, I think it’s worth to do that!
I booked a table for three for a special business occasion and it was well worth it. I would definetly go back and strongly recommend it.
Great service and good food...
Exceptional dining experience, with outstanding food and excellent service.
You have to have the Tipsy Cake for dessert. True this is an expensive joint to eat so if you're counting pennies, or calories come to that, then maybe pick somewhere else. if you want great food, impeccable service and you're prepared for then hit to your wallet then its unmatched imo. I'm coming back every birthday till they put me in a box.
Fantastic food and excellent service
We had a fabulous evening and had the tasting menu!! Really great food!!!
The food was not exactly the best. But for a Michelin two-star restaurant, the price is not too expensive. The food can be considered creative 7 or 8 years ago, but the bar has been raised since there are just too many creative restaurants in London. However, it is a nice place for a small but special gathering of a group of friends.
Very good service, good environment. Food is under the expectation. Meat fruit is good, cod was a bit over cooked.
Restaurant as exquisite as this should not allow flash photography from guests, very disruptive and disrespectful. Caused us to see spots for most of the evening due to a table’s endless
Documentation of their meal.
Food and service were excellent.
This was my fourth visit to Dinner, and I am sure that I will be back again. The food was, as usual, exquisite and very interesting in terms of innovation and flavour combinations. I have given a slightly lower rating than my usual five stars this time, partly because the windows are frosted over due to construction works at the moment and some very loud drilling noises, so there are no views over the park, but also because we found that the service was not as friendly and warm as usual, despite the restaurant being (rarely) half empty - I'm assuming also due to the hotel renovations. The service and ambiance at Dinner has always been part of what makes it so special alongside some really stunning food with real WOW factor, so I am sure, and I hope that this was a one off.
Very ordinary food with a big price tag.
Massive let down.
Superb but expensive. Service was second to none, food exquisite and the decor & ambience perfect. I ran out of superlatives!!
